SCHOTT Filter Glass was established over 100 years ago, and is now the world´s leading manufacturer of color glass and filter glass, they also manufacture a wide variety of optical filter glass. These are often produced and sold in an unfinished form such that they can be transformed into cut glass that suits special purposes by post-processes which use the raw glass to produce filters and fit technical applications.
In 1995, after proving to SCHOTT and many industries throughout Europe that the expertise and skill at ITOS was superior to others; the two companies entered into an exclusive contract for the European distribution of 50mm by 50mm standard filters. This exclusive contract still exists today but has also helped to facilitate many industrial solutions based on the entire range of SCHOTT products.
ITOS makes every effort to insure that all SCHOTT color glass and filter glass selections are available in reasonable quantities without extended lead times.
